Dear Friends of Divine Treasures,

We find ourselves in difficult and challenging times. But in faith we trust that God is in control and we pray for the grace to “Be not afraid.” We want to assure you of our prayers, and let you know the health of our employees and customers, both spiritual and physical, is our foremost concern.

The CDC recommends that all church gatherings, including Sunday and weekend Liturgies, and the Spring Sacramental Season, be canceled or delayed until further notice. This is now our Lenten sacrifice.

Our Bishop, His Excellency, William Joensen, reminded us that,

“As we fast from shared participation at Mass, we offer all that we do during these trying days in the spirit of St. Paul, ‘I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ on behalf of his body, which is the Church’
(Col 1:24).”

The virus transforms how we do business at Divine Treasure, but know that we are well stocked with all your favorite Catholic products and books, as well as items for Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, weddings, and memorial gifts.

Our doors are open but here is what we are doing to protect our staff and customers...

  • We are following CDC guidelines for hygiene and cleaning surfaces.
  • For those at high risk or sick we can continue serving you by taking your order by phone or email. We can set a time for you to pick up your purchase at the door, or we’ll mail to you.
  • If you are in the area, we might be able to deliver to your home at no charge.
  • If you are over 60, we will offer extended shopping hours from 9-10 a.m., by appointment.

We believe that by taking these measures for the next 8 weeks, we can continue to serve your book and gift needs.

Again, please be assured of our prayers. Please pray for God’s mercy and that He will graciously bring the pandemic to an end. Pray for healing and for the well being for all affected by the virus. Pray for enduring faith during a season of heightened fear, anxiety, and confusion.

“We know that all things work for good for those who love God, and are called to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28).

Pray for the spread of the Gospel, and that we be ready as God’s children to provide the comfort and hope that only the Good News of Jesus Christ can offer.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Prayerfully in Christ Jesus,

Lois, Cindy, & Sue
